Back in Dali the torch festival took a different tone
my favorite street food, skewered veggies, meats, and tofu, cooked freshly for you
went on a hike up in the mountains above dali
when we snuck off the trail, chris (a fellow traveler) and i came across two run-away chinese college students who quickly became our partners in adventuring for the day.
at a temple at the bottom of the mountain. i'm not sure what the little men are all about.
and yes, china is a filthy place sometimes
a delicious fungus dish in kunming
i met up with some other EAPSI folks and we went out with some of their chinese lab mates
we played some dice games too
